"De Limburgse Kempen" is an area that offers a varied wildlife and countryside, hospitable people, authentic regional traditions and... wonderful regional produce. The four local breweries and the traditional dairies lend extra flavour to this green region of Flanders. And what better way to experience this exuberant character of the region than by bicycle? That is why the local tourist organisation Toerisme Limburg, in cooperation with Tafelen in Vlaanderen, has put together four absolutely delicious Beer & Cheese cycling routes for those among you who are so fond of good food. Come and let the smells of traditionally brewed beers, creamy cheeses, fresh ice-cream and delicious regional dishes seduce you on your travels. Enjoy the local produce on the terrace of one of the many pubs along the route and stop off to visit one of the local dairies.
