A beer brewed here represents an authentic quality beer, brewed according to traditional methods. This beer is still brewed according to the original recipe drawn up by the monks of the Affligem Abbey. Its recipe is followed with the greatest respect by Affligem Brouwerij BDS in Opwijk. After all, authenticity and tradition are considered to be of the utmost importance here. All this contributes to the brewery fulfilling its goals: to produce and deliver a tasty beer to all genuine beer lovers! Though the brewery puts in great efforts to modernise its production equipment, it is keen to remain faithful to the centuries-old tradition and culture. Affligem Brouwerij may still be brewing according to traditional methods but it's something the brewers are proud of!
