OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION combined with a beer tasting experience
Visits to brewery "Loterbol" (Diest) and "Hoegaarden" (Hoegaarden ) can be arranged by appointment. If you want to visit the brewery you will need to make the necessary reservations. Both individual visitors as groups are welcome at the brewery.

2-day arrangement "Best of Beer in Flanders"
The guests of Hotel Pluimpapaver in Aarschot-Rillaar who sign up for the aforementioned deal are in for a couple of action-packed days.
Day 1: arrival and welcome drink (regional beer)
Aperitif with selection of Belgian cheeses and Trappist beer (abbey beer)
Dinner, dishes prepared with local ales
Day 2:
Hoegaarden-bicycles are at your disposal for a bike ride through Scherpenheuvel and on to Diest
Picture-hunt to the old breweries of Diest and visit - with refreshments - in an authentic and traditional pub
(optional) dinner at the hotel-restaurant (dinner accompanied by selected beers - tasting session)Day 3:
An adventurous and fun walk using map and compass or walk with GPS. (explanations issued beforehand)
(all along the trail we have hidden assignments and refreshing beer treats. It's up to you to find them!)
Afternoon: brewery visit in Hoegaarden to conclude the action-packed weekend.
(time schedules, specific requirements and choice of activities can be amended slightly to suit the demands of the customer)

Besides the aforementioned activities, this arrangement includes 2 overnight stays in a double room with breakfast buffet, welcome drink, themed dinner “Best of Beer in Flanders".
Free use of bicycles and free use of materials for the activities and assignments, plus tickets to visit the Hoegaarden brewery. Free use of the wellness-facilities: 1 session per room booked.
Budget: the price of arrangement “Best of Beer in Flanders” amounts to €139 per person

Specific information with regard to the accommodation
They have a beer list with various regional beers and Trappist (abbey) beers and have various dishes on offer made with beer. Charmehotel Pluimpapaver has its own car park for guests (free), its own restaurant and can offer visitors, among other things, regional gastronomy and a beer menu, a wellness centre and relaxation zone (available for private use). Bicycle renting facility (reservations required) also offered by the hotel!
