The ritual of pulling beer

Beer brewed with care should be drunk with care... and pulled with skill. Beer is a foodstuff that is made from natural ingredients. To guarantee a perfect taste, beers are brewed according to strict guidelines. But that's not where it ends... Even after beer or ale has left the brewery, it will require good storage conditions, hygienic beer pulling equipment and a clean glass to guarantee a refreshing pint.

And that is exactly why the following 10 commandments should be honoured at all times:

1. store the beer in a dark, cool and dry place
2. verify the use-by date of the beer
3. degrease the glass and rinse it with cold water
4. open the tap with one smooth pull and let the first splash drain away
5. start by holding the glass at an angle and then straighten it up
6. the tap should never be in contact with the glass, nor the beer
7. if there is too much froth, close the tap and remove the glass from underneath the tap
8. de-froth the glass at a 45 ° angle
9. hold the glass near the bottom, rinse the outside and pat the bottom dry
10. place the glass on top of a coaster, making sure the logo faces the customer.
Cheers!
