Arrangement 1
- Welcome drink (a tasty regional beer)
- We will show you what's what in Koekelare and the surrounding area
- You will receive various information leaflets: 'Westhoekjes' (local sites), 'Kustschatten' (coastal treasures), 'Den Grooten Oorlog' (the big war) as well as a tourist map of the area ('Westhoek - Frans-Vlaanderen').
- A visit to the former local brewery (in Koekelare), the Käthe Kollwitz-tower, the Yves Rhayé-room and the "Fransmans museum" (a museum dedicated to Flemish seasonal workers in the 19th century).
- Optional: guests can visit brewery "De Dolle Brouwers" in Esen on Saturday or Sunday. On Sunday afternoon visits include guided tour and tasting session (see www.dollebrouwers.be).
